SFI Names Dante Piacenza as Executive Producer Commercial production company SFI (Simpson Films), has signed Dante Piacenza as its new Executive Producer. The announcement was made by SFI founder Jerry Simpson.
“Dante brings close to 20 years of experience in the advertising industry, from the agency, production, and post-production sides of the business,” says Simpson. “He’s a veteran of large-scale productions, music, and visual effects-driven projects, and truly understands what it takes to create a complete experience for our clients.” Prior to joining SFI, Piacenza had been EVP/GM/Executive Producer of Elias Arts’ New York office. Before Elias, Piacenza was Director of Broadcast at Young & Rubicam, New York. During his nearly 10-year tenure with Y&R, he produced celebrity-driven campaigns and oversaw some of the agency’s first non-traditional efforts. During his career, Piacenza has produced campaigns for clients such as AT&T, Dr. Pepper, 7UP, Accenture, Budweiser, Xerox, Colgate-Palmolive and Lincoln. His work has been recognized by both the AICP and Cannes Lions. In regards to his new role at SFI Piacenza says “Joining SFI is a fantastic opportunity, as it allows me to creatively incorporate all of my previous experience, in both commercial and non-commercial content. My role here as EP will allow me to open up new directions for SFI.” |
